cruise vacationWe have a New Year coming up shortly—are you ready to make 2012 your ultimate travel year and explore the world? Here’s how, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

Take out your bucket list, and check it twice.

Where would you like to go? What would you like to do?

Do you have it on your bucket list already, or could your list stand a little revision?

Your bucket list is your guide to the travel experiences you want, and it should reflect your dream experiences, destinations, and activities. As they say, the world is your oyster, so don’t be afraid to dream big and we’ll help you do it!

Make plans now for trips in 2012.

Decide where you want to go, and call us to get started creating your Custom Journey. The earlier we hear from you, the more time we have to create the journey you’ve always dreamed of. We have several small-group Distinctive Journeys we’re planning for 2012 that you’ll love, but they are first come, first serve. Book early and often!

Be adventurous.

Try activities and destinations that you might not normally try, such as glacier hiking in Alaska or an African safari. Or maybe you’d like to have authentic cultural experiences, such as learning true French cooking or making cheese in Switzerland. Call us for adventure ideas, or search for travel ideas online and let us know what you’re ready to experience.

Travel with new people.

Take a girlfriends’ trip to Europe, or have a mini-reunion cruise with friends from your past. Traveling with new people gives you a fresh perspective on travel, plus you’ll enjoy getting to know your travel companions better. Our travelers often make new lifelong friends from just one trip!

Travel in a new way.

If you’ve always traveled alone or with family, try a new way to travel. Small-group trips are exciting, and you have travel companions with common interests. Our groups typically consist of 8 to 16 travelers, and we’re very careful in planning our small-group travel journeys to ensure that group members are compatible.

If you’ve never taken a cruise, now is the time to enjoy the opulence, the shore excursions, and the delicious cuisine aboard ship. If you prefer a smaller ship or travel group, you’ll enjoy the intimacy and ever-changing scenery of a river cruise.

What are your travel plans for 2012? If you don’t have any yet, visit us on Facebook to get some ideas for where your next trip.
